During my early adolescence I began to get déja vu pretty regularly, 1-2 times every couple weeks. Often the experiences would be very intense and last up to 20-30 seconds. I’m tempted to say that I’ve never heard this particular (and very common!) history from a patient and had it *not* turn out to [...] Frontal lobe isn’t the temporal lobe. The term fronto-temporal is often used by EEGers, though, because there are a couple of places on the scalp where it’s not possible to be certain whether abnormal voltage spikes detected there actually originated in the frontal or temporal lobe.
