Cryptozoology is the study of strange, unknown and mythical creatures, it is not a recognized branch of zoology due to it’s reliance on anecdotal evidence and alleged sightings. Bigfoot, Chupacabra, Lochness Monster, Mermaid, Unicorn, Yeti, Sea Serpents and other animals whose existence has yet to be proved are claimed to be sighted by the public around the world, but there are also interesting new discoveries of previously unknown species and images of creatures which are now sadly extinct like the Dodo which deserve inclusion. Many photographs of strange discoveries have been debunked but the search still continues!
